> Benefits for the future!
ENSI Bourges is pursuing an international outlook while keeping its prominence in the European zone as a priority. The School wishes to guarantee increased quality of hosting, and further facilitate the career launch of its students and professors. Last but not least, it wishes to reaffirm its collaboration policy with respect to all its national and international partners.
The School thus provides its students with invaluable assets and opportunities for their future career, whether in industry, research or public service.
The ENSI Bourges international outlook is based in particular on:
> Why?
The richness of an experience abroad is essential today to the career of an engineer. To be mobile, able to adapt to other environments and other cultures, to be able to communicate in another language and learn different work techniques, are all qualities that tomorrow’s engineer must possess. That is why ENSI Bourges is continually reaching out internationally.
> How?
These are European Union programs for transnational cooperation in higher education. Students participate in placements of three months to one year.
This period of studying abroad is considered a substitution period and is not sanctioned by foreign diplomas. Teaching modules carried out are accounted for and validated with the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). Assistance is provided with each placement.

> When?
The School places a premium on international mobility in the engineering student’s curriculum in different forms:
The first ten months are validated in the 3rd year and give access to the original diploma, leading to the possibility of obtaining a Master of Science at the host university.
As certain universities are located in the Southern hemisphere, we must take into account differing university school periods.
